Susan H. Rushing
Susan H. Rushing was a 2014 candidate for the Blount County General Sessions Court in Blount County, Tennessee.[1]

Rushing ran for election to the Blount County General Sessions Court.
General: She was defeated in the general election on August 7, 2014, after receiving 32.1 percent of the vote. She competed against Kenlyn Foster.

Education
Rushing received her undergraduate degree from Belhaven College and her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law.[4][5]
Career
Rushing began her legal career in private practice with law firms in Mississippi and Texas. When she moved to Tennessee, she started her own firm and also worked as a guardian ad litem. She then went to work for the Department of Children's Services for twelve years. Upon her retirement from the Department of Children's Services, Rushing again opened her own practice, serving primarily as a guardian ad litem.[5]
