Susan Htoo was a judicial candidate for the Poughkeepsie Town Court in Dutchess County, New York. She was defeated in the 2011 general election. She works as an attorney.[1][2]

Htoo ran unsuccessfully for election to the Town Court on November 8 as a Democrat. She received 26.3% of the vote in the four-way race for two seats.[1]
Htoo previously lost the Conservative and Independence party primary elections to incumbent justices Paul L. Banner and Paul O. Sullivan on September 13th (she received 27.1% of the Conservative vote and 30% of the Independence vote in the three-way race).[2][3]
