Susan Kushner
Susan Kushner is a judge of the Albany County Family Court in Albany County, New York.[1] She was elected to the bench on November 5, 2013 for a term that expires in 2023.[2]

Kushner ran for election to the Albany County Family Court.
Primary: She received 60.2 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary on September 10, 2013, defeating Rika Murray.
General: She defeated Rika Murray in the general election on November 5, 2013, receiving 73.2 percent of the vote.[3][2]
Education
Kushner earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Buffalo in 1982 and her J.D. from Albany Law School in 1985.[4]
Career
Prior to her judicial election in 2013, Kushner worked as an attorney, practicing exclusively in the Albany County Family Court. She also worked in the Child Protection Unit of the Albany County Department of Social Services. Before her time in child protection she was an attorney at Ainsworth, Sullivan, Tracy, Knauf, Warner & Ruslander.[4]
