The city of Stockton, California held elections for city council on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. In the primary election for District 3, Susan Lofthus and Gene Acevedo advanced past Motecuzoma Sanchez. Lofthus defeated Acevedo in the general election.[1][2][3]
