Susan Mackey Andrews (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Maine State Senate to represent District 4. She lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.

Mackey Andrews was a 2010 Democratic candidate for District 27 of the Maine State Senate. She ran unopposed in the primary election on June 8, 2010, but was defeated in the general election on November 2, 2018.

Mackey Andrews is the founder and president of Solutions Consulting Group, LLC, which provides health care and educational consulting services to states. Mackey Andrews also co-founded Community First in Dover-Foxcroft in 2006. She has also served as a director on the board of the Maine Association of Infant Mental Health.

Mackey Andrews completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst in education and psychology. She attended graduate studies at the University of Massachusetts and at University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, studying pediatrics and deviational development.

Andrews was defeated by Republican candidate Douglas Thomas in the general election on November 2, 2010. Republican incumbent Doug Smith did not run for re-election.[1] Mackey Andrews ran unopposed in the primary election on June 8, 2010.[2]
