Susan R. Winfield was a judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She was appointed to the court by President Ronald Reagan in 1984. Winfield was active until 2006, when she took on senior status.[1]
Education
Winfield received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and her J.D. from Boston College Law School.[1]
Career
Winfield has spent her legal career in both public service and the private practice of law. She has worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia and a Staff Attorney at the Department of Justice.[1]
