Susan Sexton
Susan Sexton was a Criminal Justice and Trial Division judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. On September 2, 1986, she became the first woman elected to this court. She took office in early 1987. She later ran unopposed and was retained in the August 24, 2010 primary.[1][2][3][4] Sexton retired from the court on August 31, 2012.[5]
Career
Sexton is a former Assistant State Attorney and Assistant Public Defender in the 13th Judicial Circuit. She was elected to the circuit court in 1986.[6]
2010 election
Sexton ran unopposed and was automatically retained to a new term.[3]
