Susan has been involved in St Charles County Equality Coalition, St Charles Progressive Democrats, and is an active member of Grace United Church of Christ in O'Fallon.
  • Susan is a woman of Integrity and was raised to believe that you are only as good as your word. Susan does not make promises that she cannot keep.
  • Susan is a compassionate listener and it is through compassionate listening that Susan finds commonality with others that allows her to build bridges and relationships. Susan looks forward to building relationships with unexpected people in Jeff City.
  • Susan believes in Equality for all and is a champion of women's rights. She believes it is her responsibility to open doors that are closed for others.
Susan is passionate about healthcare and insuring that everyone has access to good affordable healthcare. Susan was raised by a group of teachers who taught her the value of an education and she believes that everyone should have a good education. Susan believes in equality of all people and believes in fighting for women's rights and LGBTQIA rights.
I am a compassionate advocate, good listener, bridge builder, hard-working, woman of integrity who knows how to get things done.
My responsibility is to represent the people in my district to the best of my ability. This includes the people who voted for me, the people who voted for my opponent, and the people who did not vote at all.
My first job was for Pizza Hut as a cook. I worked for them for 3 years beginning in my senior year of high school and my first 2 years of college. It was great as I was able to transfer stores as I went back and forth to college and then home for breaks.
How could I ever choose 1 book! I read a lot of romances for relaxation and average reading 4 books on a slow week. I do re-read because it's amazing what you pick up different times when reading a book.
Redoing the tax structure and budget in Missouri to address the needs of all of Missourians.
The state swings Democratic and Republican. I prefer it to swing for Missourians and to make that happen there needs to be conversation between the two parties and their members. Conversations involve give and take and learning about the other person.
I would love to be on the following committees: Children and Family, Elementary and Secondary Education, Ethics, Health and Mental Health Policy, Joint Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect, Joint Committee on Education
