Susan Theall
Susan L. Theall was a judge for the 15th Judicial District in Louisiana. She was elected to the court on November 19, 2011, to succeed Judge Phyllis M. Keaty. Her most recent term expired in December 2014.[1]
Theall filed to run for a seat on the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeal in 2017.[2] She was defeated in the general election on April 29, 2017.
Education
Theall earned her J.D. degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 1985.[3]
Career
Before joining the court, Theall practiced law for 26 years with an emphasis on family law. She was certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization as a family law specialist in 1995.[4]

Theall and Perret defeated Anseman in the March 25 primary and advanced to the April 29 general election. Perret defeated Theall in the general election.
