Susan Tlacil was a candidate for board chair on the Cherokee County Board of Education in Georgia. Tlacil lost in the primary election on May 24, 2016.[1]

Incumbent Kyla Cromer defeated Susan Tlacil in the Republican primary for board chair. Cromer, District 1 incumbent Kelly Poole (R), and District 2 incumbent Patsy Jordan (R) won without opposition in the general election.[1]
