Susan Tucker
Susan Tucker was a Democratic member of the Massachusetts State Senate. She represented the Second Essex and Middlesex district from 1999 to 2011.
Tucker's political experience began when she joined the Governor's Commission on School Readiness and the Andover Democratic Town Committee. For ten years, 1982 to 1992, she served as a representative of Massachusetts.
Biography
Tucker's professional experience includes teaching at Lexington and Andover public schools, directing education and managing quality, an working as a strategic planner and benchmarking under her own supervision.
Tucker earned her Bachelor's degree at Michigan State University.[1]

Tucker has been involved with a number of organizations, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Lawrence Cultural Alliance, Lawrence Partners in Education, Massachusetts League of Women Voters, Massachusetts State Workforce Investment Board, Merrimack River Watershed Council, and the Young Women's Christian Association. From 1992 to 1999 she was involved with the American Society for Quality.

On November 4, 2008, Tarr was re-elected in the Senate election for the Second Essex and Middlesex district.[2] In this election she raised $70,368-; of that total $67,093 (95.3%) was from in state contributions and $3,275 (4.7%) was from out of state contributions.[3]
