I began my career as a staff attorney for the first woman to ever hold this seat on the Appellate Court. Since 1991, I have had a successful practice, ran my own small business, tried dozens of cases to juries and placed more than 350 children in adoptive homes. Instead of retiring, at 62, I wanted to give back to the judiciary by serving as a Judge-full circle to where I began. I love the law, respect the Courts and am proud to be serving.
Judicial races in Ky are non partisan and judicial ethics are very clear that we are not to answer questions on any matters that might come before us as Judges. While I know this makes it difficult for the public to learn more about judicial candidates, I encourage voters to ask attorneys, judges, court staff and law enforcement about this race. I am passionate about serving our Commonwealth and upholding the Constitution.
