I am a mother who fought to reopen schools and restore normalcy for our children. I have both a business and legal background, and serve on the school site council.

My children attend the district and I am passionate on ensuring politics and political influence stays out of our schools and the focus is on education. Students should always come first!

I have successfully advocated for our children and our schools, including youth sports. I want to ensure parents retain decision-making power over their children’s education and have a voice on the board. I will represent all stakeholder interests, protect tax payer dollars and ensure funds are adequately allocated with an eye toward students first. I also want to ensure teachers are fairly compensated and have the support they need to focus on their role as educators.
  • Students first! Let’s keep politics out of schools and focus on education. The interests of students should always come first.
  • Parental involvement: parents should be encouraged to be involved and I will fight to ensure we retain decision making authority over our children’s education.
  • Academic excellence: we need to ensure resources to serve and empower every child—from those needing extra help to the high-achieving students who need to be challenged. We cannot afford to dumb down our curriculum to lift failing schools!
Ensuring schools are adequately funded and political influence and special interests stay out of policies affecting schools and education.
