I bring a unique perspective combining decades of financial experience and my foundation in Elementary and Art Education. Children deserve a solid background in Reading, Math, Science, the Arts and Sports and deserve the fiscally responsible funding to support these goals.

Strong schools are the backbone to a strong community. My goal is to be a champion for all students and represent the various perspectives across our vast Ward 1 Manchester community and support the continued growth of our excellent school district.

I have sound judgment, an even temper, a willingness to collaborate and a sincere interest in public education in my community.
The first historical event that occurred in my lifetime which I remember was the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. There were workers in my home who were installing a new carpet. They visibly wept when they heard the news.

Great school board members have a clear vision for the district. They set the vision and goals and measure the success of the district and superintendent against the goals. A successful school board member will balance discussion of the seemingly tedious business of running the district while paying close attention to the district’s priorities for academic success.
Great school board members keep the public or constituents informed of the district’s progress and challenges,
and always regard the members of the community as part of the team.
Growing up in Queens, New York, I lived in a very diverse community. We always treated each other with kindness and were indeed a neighborhood family. I believe diversity improves critical thinking, skills, builds empathy and encourages students to think differently. Perhaps think as if they are a family.
