Suzanne S. Brooks was the judge for the Williamson County Court at Law No. 1 in Texas. She was elected in 2002 and began serving in January of 2003. She was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expired on December 31, 2018.[1][2]

Education

Brooks earned a B.P.A. from the University of Mississippi, going on to receive her J.D. from the South Texas College of Law. She was admitted to the bar in 1988.[3]

Career

Prior to becoming a judge in 2003, Brooks served for 10 years as a prosecutor with the Harris and Williamson County District Attorney's Offices.[4]

Primary: She ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014.

Brooks ran unopposed in the Republican primary for the Williamson County Court of Law No. 1. She defeated Teresa Duffin in the general election, winning 67.5 percent of the vote.[6][7]
