Suzanne H. Segal was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She was appointed to this position on July 31, 2002.[1][2]

Biography

Education

Judge Segal earned her B.A. degree from Claremont McKenna College in 1982 and her J.D. degree from Cornell Law School in 1987.[1]

Career

Judge Segal began her career in 1987 as an associate with the law firm Adams, Duque & Hazeltine. In 1988, she moved to the firm Dewey, Ballentine. She then worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California from 1990 to 1999. From 1999 to 2002, she was Chief of the Civil Appeals division of the U.S. Attorney's Office.[1]
