I'm a single parent that has lived in the district for twenty years. I care about our families, schools and businesses. I worked as a local government lawyer and Deputy Secretary of State. As the Deputy Secretary of State I worked on Colorado's mail ballot system. In 2018 the Washington Post called Colorado the safest state to vote. Working across the aisle we implemented a secure and accessible system.
  • Twenty year resident, single mother of three.
  • Practical policy maker that listens to all sides.
  • Experienced. Former deputy Secretary of State.
I'm passionate about solving problems in many areas. I think the best decisions are made when people on all sides come together. We need a balance of voices in government.
Iranian Revolution. I'm Iranian-American and I was in the United States at the time. I remember the hostage crisis and the distrust between the two countries.
Yes. I think it's important to have experience in governance and experience I'm the district you want to represent.
I favor Colorado's process of a citizen committee. Colorado is gerrymandered heavily in favor of Democrats. A new system is set to be implemented in 2021.
