Sybil Richards

Sybil R. Richards is judge for the Stamford/Norwalk District Superior Court in Connecticut. She was nominated to the Superior Court in October 2011 by Governor Dan Malloy.[1][2]
Education
Richards received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.[3]
Career
Richard worked as Deputy Corporation Counsel for the City of Stamford from 2000 until she became a judge in 2011. Prior to that, she was Deputy Corporation Counsel for the City of New Haven's Law Department. From 1989 to 1993, she was Director of Admissions an Financial Aid at the University of Tennessee College of Law. She has also worked as a sole practitioner.[1]
