Primary: She was defeated in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 49.95 percent of the vote. She competed against Betsy Jones. [1][2]

Education

Walker received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 1983 and her J.D. from Southern University School of Law in 1986.[3]

Career

Walker is an attorney in private practice and former assistant attorney general. She has been on the West Feliciana Parish Hospital Board of Commissioners for 6 years, and was president of the West Feliciana Parish Police Jury from 1988 to 1992.[3]
