Picou Walker ran for election to the 20th Judicial District.
Primary: She was defeated in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 49.95 percent of the vote. She competed against Betsy Jones.

Education
Walker received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 1983 and her J.D. from Southern University School of Law in 1986.[3]
Career
Walker is an attorney in private practice and former assistant attorney general. She has been on the West Feliciana Parish Hospital Board of Commissioners for 6 years, and was president of the West Feliciana Parish Police Jury from 1988 to 1992.[3]
