|- I will work to address the affordability crisis in housing and daily living in Gaston County. North Carolina's economy is thriving but the workers are not benefiting from this due to bad legislation and policies. We must focus on growing Gaston County's economy where the workers are elevated and thriving.
- I will work to invest in our public education system. We must invest in our teachers and youth. North Carolina currently ranks 46th in the U.S. for teacher starting pay and 49th in the U.S. for what we invest in our public education. This is unacceptable. We have to fund our public education system. Every student deserves to have a quality and equitable education.
- I will work to get North Carolinian's access to quality affordable healthcare. I will fight government overreach, particularly where it concerns women's reproductive healthcare and the expansion of the legislature's power.
