I was born, raised & educated in NV, 60 years ago & I am a retired nurse. I currently build, test, teach/train and implement the Electronic Health Record for a local hospital. I understand the needs and wants of people in Southern NV. I am a people person and was voted "Most Friendly" and "Most Fun to Be with" in High School. I also received the Ambassador of Courtesy from the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce 15 years ago when I worked in the Pediatric ICU. People matter! Let's talk!
  • When we care for children, we care for our future!
  • Our veterans and military deserve the next right thing every time!
  • Health care needs to be two things: Increased quality and decreased cost!
What is important to me is: 1.) children & keeping them healthy, safe and I would work on making sure they get a proper education in NV as that is a problem in the Clark County School District; 2.) families, including single parent homes; decreasing healthcare costs for them & increasing the quality & frequency of evidence based care; 3.) Family Court corruption needs to be addressed in S. NV, as it has been happening for at least 20 years. Decision's made that do not have the best interest of the child and family at heart, must be scrutinized and evaluated. We need to shine the light on why family court judges and attorneys are pushing an agenda that in not in favor of the child; 4.) veterans and current military and their needs including housing and decreasing healthcare costs for them, plus increasing the quality and frequency of evidence based care for our vet's and active military; 5.) decreasing the poor outcomes we are having here in NV in our L&D units and 6.) preserving water and wildlife in our beautiful state! #HomeMeansNevada #BattleBorn
Soft people skills such as emotional intelligence. Ethics and integrity.
To do the best I can every day for the people of my state and the State of NV.
I did the next right thing everyday, and took responsibility for my behavior when I did not always do the next right thing.
My first historical event was at K.O. Knudson Junior High School, Las Vegas, NV and winning the Vice President of my class election. I was about 13.
I am a book bug so I have many.
Big Brother Rare Earth LOL! 1971 However, if you listen to the song; it is very prophetic of our society now.
Seeing injustice anywhere, rather it is a sick child in the ICU or a corrupt judge making decisions that destroy lives.
Transparent, authentic relationship that function in emotional intelligence, with the vision of accomplishing our goals for Nevada, even if we don't always agree.
YES! Transparent, authentic relationship that function in emotional intelligence, with the vision of accomplishing our goals for Nevada, even if we don't always agree. Valuing each other in spite of differences, pulls down the walls of communication silos.
