Sylvia O. Hinds-Radix
Sylvia O. Hinds-Radix is a judge of the New York Supreme Court 2nd Judicial District.
Hinds-Radix (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for judge of the New York Supreme Court 2nd Judicial District. She won in the general election on November 6, 2018.
She was also appointed to the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department by Governor Andrew Cuomo on October 1, 2012.[3] She retired from the position on February 25, 2022.[4]
Education
Hinds-Radix is a graduate from Howard University.[1]
Career
Hinds-Radix was elected to the New York City Civil Court in 2002 and was elected to the Supreme Court in 2005. She served as the Administrative Judge for Civil Matters of the 2nd Judicial District from 2009 to 2013.[1]
