I was born in Mexico City and immigrated to America with my grandparents when I was 8 years old. My family owned Toño’s Mexican food restaurant located on Boardway and Central Avenue for many years. When I was not in school, I was helping my family at the restaurant. As a Spanish speaking child, I faced the challenges that come with assimilating into a new language and culture.

I went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Juris Doctor from Arizona State University, and an International MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. I have represented and worked with business owners since 1999 and I am a business owner myself. I have volunteered my time to various community organizations throughout my career such as the Arizona Kidney Foundation, Teach for America, the Arizona-Mexico Commission, and most recently, the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

I became politically involved in 2021 and have been volunteering to help my legislative district and grassroots organizations since then.

I am a wife and a mother of two and I am thankful for the opportunity to achieve the American Dream.
  • We need to restore voter confidence and return Maricopa County to the gold standard in elections.
  • We need to implement permanent solutions for our homeless crisis including mental illness, drug addiction, and crime.
  • We need to manage and allocate our resources effectively including land, water, and tax dollars.
Transparency and accountability in government.
