Taline Georgiou was a candidate for an at-large seat on the Etiwanda School District school board in California. Georgiou was defeated in the at-large general election on November 8, 2016.[1]

Georgiou previously ran for a seat on the board. She was defeated in the general elections in 2010, 2012, and 2014.

Two of the five seats on the Etiwanda School District board of trustees were up for at-large general election on November 8, 2016. In their bids for re-election, incumbents David Long and Cathline Fort faced three opponents: Sam Sager, Robert Garcia, and Taline Georgiou. Long won re-election, and Garcia won the other seat on the board.[2][3]

Taline Georgiou's long-time interest in the affairs of the Etiwanda School District, her experience in teaching, sales, engineering, and volunteering in schools, together with her dedication to children’s education, make Taline the best candidate for the Etiwanda School Board.

Taline is a resident of Rancho Cucamonga for the last 19 years with her husband George, married for 24 years, and their three children who attend schools in the district. Taline is teaching at CSUSB and has Bachelor's and Master's degrees in electrical engineering.

Taline will provide the needed strong leadership on the Board. She will bring positive change having the interests of the students as her first priority. Children are our future and deserve the best education in a bully-free, safe, and nurturing environment. Taline Georgiou will
