The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Tamara Kruse Roselius was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while District B incumbent Pete Kelly was unopposed in the Republican primary. Kelly defeated Roselius in the general election.[2][3][4][5]
