Mahatma Ghandi because he exhibited strength through peace which inspired a movement. Inner peace and philosophies free from ego are our best chance to unite us. Once we react to our egos, we lose our sense of compassion.

Maturity, sound judgement, integrity and mental fortitude.

Many of our politicians are too focused on grasping power and are motivated by their own self interests while others are capable of critical thinking and pragmatic decision making. Pie in the sky ideas that aren't executable just aren't pragmatic in their reality. Sloppy thinking leads to careless words and subsequent poor decision and bad policies.

I a critical thinker who has a deep understanding of government policies and geo-politics. I am balanced and always exercise sound judgement and pragmatic decision making. I have a comprehensive understand of business, finance and economics.

I am also open minded and work well with people. I am compassionate and empathetic but am a fighter and possess mental toughness and fortitude.
To represent all people in my district regardless of their party affiliation. Once you are elected you have to transcend your party and listen to your constituents so that you could best represent them.
That I've made the world a better place.
The first historical event that I remember during my lifetime was the Iran Hostage Crisis. Although, I was only 10 years old at the time, I began to question how and why America was perceived by world.

My first job was bagging groceries at Acme in Philadelphia. I graduated college during a recession and needed to pay my bills and mounting college debt. My mother had passed away and my father was in financial ruin so he wasn't in a position to help me pay for school.

I worked at Acme for about 10 months when I was offered a job a local savings & loan. After about a year the economy started to improve and I was hired by JP Morgan in New York City. I worked there for 12 years.
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill because it outlines the formula for success based on titans of industry in the early 1900s. Although it was written 100 years ago it is still relevant.
Princess Leia in Star Wars because she was smart, super competent and had grit and ambition to fight for a purpose greater than herself.
Tragic life events. The death of both my parents at a very young age.
I do not believe that it is necessary to have previous experience in government but I do believe that it is important to have relevant experience in which the skills or beneficial to the role.

I'm starting to believe that there should be an exam that tests a candidates knowledge of both the issues and our history.
Jobs and the economy will be great challenges for New York. In rural areas manufacturing jobs have been lost to China. I would like to chose one sector of industry on which we focus and build out for New York. For example, i would like New York to become the robotics capital of the world where we bring the technology jobs to New York city and the manufacturing aspects to upstate New York.

As America decouples from China, we will need to bring manufacturing back to the United States. In order to achieve this effectively we will need to make advancements in our robotics technology in which we are currently NOT a world leader. We could be and we should be. New York should be instrumental in this venture.
Absolutely. I believe everyone should be working together to advance our goal. We should learn from one another instead of fighting each other which is what our constituents want. The American people want our members of government to work together.
Possibly, although I am not certain which office. I don't want to get ahead of myself, so one step at a time.
