In August 2023, Hawaii Republican Party leadership elected McKay to serve as the chairwoman of the Hawaii Republican Party.[1] She served in the position until May 2025.[2]

I am running as what we are seeing is not for the benefit of the people. We need affordable options so that generations of families don’t feel force to leave Hawaii. Politicians are elected to be the voice and servant to the people. I am running to serve the people

So they can be heard and be part of the decision making process.

It’s time for change. Hawaii is in the top five for corruption. Change can only happen if you change how you vote. We need to be part of the solution to the problem or the problem becomes the solution.

Economy building for entrepreneurship, parental rights, agricultural dependency, modifying the jones act, common sence and solutions as well as responsible spending
