Tamara Shepherd was a candidate for District 6 on the Knox County school board in Tennessee. She lost to fellow challengers Terry Hill and Sandra Rowcliffe in the primary election on May 6, 2014. Incumbent Thomas Deakins did not file for re-election of the seat.

Tamara Shepherd is running against fellow challengers Bradley Buchanan, Terry Hill and Sandra Rowcliffe for election on May 6, 2014 for the District 6 seat. Since no candidate received 50 percent "plus one" of the vote, Hill and Rowcliffe advanced to the general election. Hill defeated Rowcliffe in that race.
