Approach to the law

As a prosecutor, I am known for being tough when necessary, but above all I am always fair. I firmly believe that the dispensing of equal justice is one of the key functions of a free society, and one in which everyone has a stake. I carry this belief with me every day as I walk into the Courtroom to speak on behalf of the State of Texas and those individuals directly affected by crime.
