First elected in 2005, Tami Keeling is the District 5 representative on the Victoria school board in Texas. Keeling ran unopposed in the general election on May 6, 2017. Due to lack of opposition, the election was canceled and Keeling was automatically re-elected.

Because both seats up for election on May 10, 2014 were uncontested, the district canceled the election and Keeling was automatically re-elected.[1]

Keeling has her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She has volunteered with the Victoria Education and Business Coalition and the VISD Foundation. She and her husband, Lee, have two children who are students in the district.[2]

Two of seven seats on the Victoria Independent School District board of trustees were scheduled for by-district general election on May 6, 2017. District 5 incumbent Tami Keeling and District 3 incumbent Lou Svetlik were the sole candidates to file for either race. Due to the lack of opposition, this election was canceled, and Keeling and Svetlik were automatically re-elected.[3]
