Tamika Ledbetter
Tamika Ledbetter was the Alaska Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development. Ledbetter assumed office in 2018. Ledbetter left office on January 31, 2023.
She was first appointed to the office by Gov. Mike Dunleavy (R) in November 2018. She assumed office in December 2018.[1][2]
Biography
Ledbetter worked as an employment specialist for Alaska Works from 2006 to 2007. She worked for the state of Alaska as a career development specialist from 2007 to 2009 and as an employment services manager from 2009 to 2018. From January to December 2018, Ledbetter was the regional manager of the Mat-Su Economic Region. She established her own company, Ledbetter Life Development, in 2016.[2]
Ledbetter also served in the United States Air Force.[3]
