General election

The general election was canceled. Tammy Hawkins (Nonpartisan) won without appearing on the ballot.

2019

Hawkins ran unopposed to represent District 6 on the Ector County Independent School District Board of Education. She won the election by default. However, her name did not appear on the ballot, as the Ector County Elections Office instead listed Ray Beaty by mistake. Beaty was the former occupant of the District 6 seat but did not file to run for re-election.[1]
