Primary: She was successful in the primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 29.7 percent of the vote. She competed against David C. Phillips, Sharon Holmes, and Marijo Copeland.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 47.9 percent of the vote. She competed against Sharon Holmes.

Wilson received her bachelor's degree from Langston University, and her J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law.[3]
Career
Wilson is a case manager for the juvenile court system, and was previously an assistant district attorney in Tulsa County.[3]
