- EVERY Voice Matters! I intend to respect and represent the people by improving upon and developing more training programs to meet the needs of our community in order to promote constructive growth. Additionally, I will lead with open and honest communication, my management skills and meticulous attention to detail being assets benefiting my staff, the commission, and constituents, alike. Consequently, I will aim to be more accessible and approachable by opening the doors wide and removing all fear-propagating barriers, thereby creating a more welcoming atmosphere within the Clerk’s office. Additionally, I will work on expanding access to this office by implementing satellite locations to meet the various needs of Sandoval residents.
- EVERY Vote Counts! I intend to boost voter participation through increased advertisement of elections and polling locations, while at the same time restoring faith in fair and honest elections by cleaning up voter rolls, requiring voter ID, and removing absentee ballot drop boxes within our county, all in a collective effort to deter election fraud and ensure that ONLY citizens vote. I will, also, endeavor to implement a shuttle service to the nearest polling location for individual voters who require assistance. No voter should ever feel disenfranchised by the process. I will also search for a more centralized and secure location for the purpose of collection, counting, and storage of our county's absentee ballots.
- Together, we're making a True Impact with Positive Change! Overall, I want to improve the purpose and functions of the Clerk’s office by expanding training and focusing more on civic education and engagement, especially with respect to our children, who embody the future of our great nation. Youth should be graduating high school with a working knowledge of the American government, in addition to how they can take an active role in its continued success as a Constitutional Republic, so I intend to work directly with our Public Schools to improve upon a curriculum which emphasizes civic participation. Also, I will increase communication with Sandoval residents through a monthly digital newsletter and quarterly in-person meetings.
