Tara Jacobs
Tara Jacobs (Democratic Party) is a member of the Massachusetts Governor's Council, representing District 8. She assumed office on January 5, 2023. Her current term ends on January 7, 2027.
Jacobs (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Massachusetts Governor's Council to represent District 8. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Tara Jacobs graduated from Roslyn High School in 1989. Jacobs earned an A.A. from Simon's Rock College in 1990, a B.S. in English and psychology from Tufts University in 1992, and an M.B.A. from New York University in 2003. Her career experience includes working as a marketing consultant liaison with Company Confidential, and the vice president and senior brand planner of the FCB/NY. Jacobs has served as the chairperson of the North Adams Democratic City Committee and the North Adams Public Library.[1]
