- A Clear Path for Every Learner - From gifted services to special education to literacy programs, I know what it takes to support student success. I have experienced it as a parent and understand the value of early intervention, clear goals, and follow-through. As a board member, I will advocate for smart benchmarks, improved reading and math outcomes, and policies that ensure students get the support they need—when they need it.
- Support for Every Student, Every Background - Dublin is a diverse, dynamic community. I want to make sure our schools reflect and support that. Whether it’s differences in language, culture, learning style, or lived experience, I believe students learn best when they feel seen and respected. I willl support inclusive practices, diverse curriculum, and culturally responsive programs that help every student thrive.
- Leadership That Shows Up - I have already been attending board meetings, levy forums, and coffee chats in the district for many years. I listen, take notes, and follow through in bringing information back to the community. On the Dublin School Board, I will bring the same level of engagement. That means setting goals, reporting progress, and listening to the community. Leadership isn’t just about holding a title—it’s about building trust and taking action when it counts.
Nearly 90% of Ohio students attend public schools, but the state’s funding formula falls short. In Dublin, this leaves families shouldering the burden through frequent levies and rising property taxes. My background in finance and forecasting makes me uniquely qualified to address these challenges. I will work to reduce over-reliance on local taxes and push for state-level reforms that protect classroom funding and long-term sustainability.
