I’m a sixth-generation Pullman resident, my family settled here after the Civil War, and I’m proud to continue that legacy. I graduated magna cum laude from Washington State University in 2002 with a degree in Hospitality. After a brief time working with the Marriott Corporation in California, I returned home to join my father at the award-winning Rico’s Smokehouse. I took over the business in 2005 and have proudly owned and operated it ever since. My husband and I are now raising our three children right here in Pullman.
  • I want to bring back economic vitality to our downtown.
  • I’m interested in making better decisions concerning our long term health and prosperity, including the housing and job market
  • I want to help to help a shepherd in a new era of “yes we can” attitude at both the citizen level and the city level
I am strongly interested in what it takes to rebuild our downtown.
I look up to my father, He took an old pub and restaurant and through grit and determination he rebuilt it to an award winning institution.
I believe a willingness to work hard is imperative. I was once told by someone that they couldn’t be expected to give up their personal time - but a City never sleeps. From the EMTS, to the ERA nurses, to the people working in a hotel lobby - and your City Officials should be able to meet you on your time - and I will.
I would like for people to know that I tried hard to make Pullman better for all of us.
I worked in Hells Canyon for Beamer’s Jet Boat Tours. I worked with them for 2 summers at Copper Creek.
The government needs to be transparent about money and policies
