There are four ways to get lobbying information on governments. On a local government page, such as a city, lobbying information will go under a lobbying section:

FOIA requests

One way of getting lobbying information from local governments is to file a Freedom of Information Act request. One example of a project is the Sunshine Review Back-to-School project.

Open Secrets

Open Secrets has lobbying information for many public entities.

Governments websites

Sometimes, the government website itself has lobbying information.

TFLA

Most cities and counties do not disclose whether they belong to government sector lobbying associations. However, once you have a membership list for a city government sector lobbying association, for example, you can add the text

CITY pays membership dues to [[TFLA]], a [[government sector lobbying association]].

or "school district" or "county."
