I am a 25 year resident of the Rose Park community. I have watched it grow from being in the first graduating class of North Star Elementary, to seeing a new Northwest Middle school open and the difference on the West High football field since my days playing there. I work in Field Logistics for Intermountain Health for the past five years and counting.
  • There is to much of a competative spirit in politics and I hope to bring a more sensible approach for the people as that is who we serve. Those that voted for us, those that voted for someone else, and those that just didn't feel like voting for whatever reason.
  • A sensible, reasoned approach to problem solving from all parties is the best way forward for all Utahns.
  • Keeping Utah for Utahns is essential for the well being of all.
I believe in transparent public policy. No backroom dealings. We are here at the peoples behest we should be able to show the people exactly what we did and when.
John McCain, he sacrificed for is country. He held strong in his convictions. He did not waver from what be believed was right but did not dig in when he was presented with information that made a change to what he thought.
Transparency, integrity and remembering at all times who you work for.
I listen and take into account all sides of issues rather than make a decision with inaccurate or incomplete information and holding to that no matter what.
I work until the job is done, then I double check and make sure it is.
Going to work each day for the people of the district. If something does not benefit them do not agree to it and fight every day and night for the things that will.
Bill Clintons address about the Monica Lewinsky affair. I believe I was around 8. That is when I doubted trust in government and why I so strongly believe everything the government does should be open to the public.
I worked as a bagger then cashier at the Albertsons on North Temple and 900 West. I worked there until I transferred when I attend college and for Albertsons until they transitioned ownership.
A mutual respect built on the knowledge that everyone is doing what is best for who they represent. The legislatures representing those that are in their district and the Governor taking into all accounts for everyone in the state and working to make sure everyone benefits from decisions.
Managing the impact of growth while keeping the quality of life high.
Yes, with all experience comes wisdom that cannot be matched. With that being said there should be new life brought in from time to time to bring perspectives that have not been considered before.
Yes. Having a relationship with ones peers is essential for collaborative efforts to come to solutions for the people.
Not at this time. I think I would be great at it but that's easy to say as a Monday morning quarterback.
All stories are impactful and have deep meaning in their own right. It seems disrespectful to share one or two when there are so many out there and not enough space here. I will say that I know everyone is fighting a battle you can not see and it is up to representatives to fight for everyone and be their champion.
Emergancy powers should be granted in the most desperate of times for the most desperate of circumstances and should be taken away as soon as the situation has improved even slightly.
Education, Transportation, and Ethics
Everything out in the open. It's the peoples government, it's the peoples money, it's the peoples right to know what's going on.
