Elections for the Iowa House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 14, 2014. Incumbent Jake Highfill defeated Taylor Egly and Jerry Kinder in the Republican primary and to face Tom Leffler (D) in the general election. Leffler filed to run on June 30, 2014.[1][2] Incumbent Highfill defeated challenger Leffler in the general election.[3]
