I am the father of two children, an attorney, and a CPA. My work experience includes being an auditor for the State, where I performed financial and performance audits of state departments and school districts, among other entities. I grew up in New Jersey, Maine, and Southern California before moving to Sacramento in 2009.
  • Sacramento City schools are on a downward trajectory. I will bring my experiences as a parent and feedback from other parents, students, yea hers, and others to demand action to improve our schools.
  • I will find out what is really going on with the district’s budget and make sure our spending matches our priorities, just like I did for the programs and schools I audited.
  • I will push the school board to take a more active role in labor negotiations to repair the strained relationships that have plagued our district for years.
We can no longer sit by and let our school district atrophy. We need strong leaders who question the status quo to restore our schools to their great reputation. I can be one of those leaders and I can empower others in our community to be leaders as well. I will also ensure that parents have a seat at the table to provide the first hand knowledge we have about how to make things better.
