Campaign themes

2016

Rose's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[1]

Education Excerpt: "Montana needs well-trained workers in the fields of manufacturing, agriculture and forestry in order to not only meet our state’s economic demands, but also compete globally. Far too many young Montanans are not getting the training in public school they urgently need to make them confident employees in the future."

Health care Excerpt: "Obamacare has defined the relationship between the government and the people making the federal government the overlord over our healthcare decisions and imposed a one-size-fits-all solution. As a result, healthcare we do not have reduced costs and increased access in Montana."

Social issues Excerpt: "Taylor is 100% committed to being pro-life and finding innovative ways to not only phase out abortion, but also give young ladies alternative and safe means of providing for their babies other than through abortion."

Privacy Excerpt: "The federal government’s surveillance programs pose a clear and present danger to our liberties and personal security. The state of Montana has already begun to take positive steps in protecting our Fourth Amendment rights, but more still needs to be done. Montana needs continual legislation that protects its citizens from all forms of unlawful search and seizure from any government entity."
