Education
Berry received his undergraduate degree in history from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.[1]
Career
Before he became a judge, Berry worked primarily as a trial attorney in the areas of employment, whistleblower, civil rights, personal injury, and product liability law. He was also a trial attorney for the Allstate Insurance Company, the Nationwide Insurance Company, and the Ohio Casualty Group, and was a manager in the Labor Relations Department of Cincinnati Bell Telephone. Berry also previously served as a law clerk for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and worked at the Hamilton County Public Defenders office.[1]
