Ted Celeste
Ted Celeste (b. September 27, 1945) is a former Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 24 from 2007 to 2013. Celeste was a candidate for the United States Senate in 2000, and for the United States House of Representatives in 2012.
Celeste's professional experience includes serving as president of the National Housing Corporation in Cleveland; campaign comptroller; president of New Town Housing; Ohio campaign director and regional coordinator for Carter for President; assistant to finance director for The Ohio State University; bureau chief for Ohio State Department of Public Welfare; teacher for the Peace Corps in Fiji; and realtor.
Celeste earned a B.A. in psychology from the College of Wooster. He and his wife, Bobbie, have two children, Christiana and Liz.[1]

Celeste ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Ohio's 3rd District. Celeste lost to Joyce Beatty in the March 6, 2012 primary.[2]
2010
Celeste won re-election to District 24 of the Ohio House of Representatives.[3] His opponent was Nathan Larger (R). The election took place on November 2, 2010.[4][5]
