Every day, I will fight to make our community better for everyone.
I am a proud graduate of public schools, attending schools in District 54, District 211, and Illinois State University.
I have spent my entire career in public service, including working in a State Senator's office and helping constituents. When Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi was elected in 2016, I was hired as his Director of Outreach. Since 2018, I have worked as Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison’s Chief of Staff.
In my role with Commissioner Morrison, I have worked to help all constituents in the 15th District, collaborated with our municipalities and townships to assist mutual residents, and fought for ways to help families. A major legislative accomplishment we achieved was the passage of the VOTE Ordinance, which added eight additional languages to the suburban Cook County ballot. I believe in making government more accessible for all of our residents.- As the father to four young children, I am invested in this community. I will work every day to make sure Cook County, and specifically the 15th District, is working to make life better for working families. I will fight for better access to mental and behavioral healthcare, resources for small businesses, and protecting our amazing forest preserve system. We want the 15th District to be a place that people want to move to, as well as keeping our seniors in their homes.
- I believe I am the most qualified candidate for this position because I have served as Chief of Staff for Commissioner Morrison for over seven years. I know how Cook County government works, and who to contact in each department to get things done. I will be able to hit the ground running on day one to provide resources to the constituents of the 15th District.
- Cuts from the federal government threaten to harm our healthcare system. Over half of Cook County's budget is healthcare-related, and I will do everything I can to make sure constituents do not lose access to critical care. We have especially learned that mental and behavioral healthcare is vital to so many, and I hope to expand access to those services. Additionally, the closest Cook County Health clinic to the 15th District is in Arlington Heights, and I will work to bring more resources into the district so people don't have to travel as far.
Congresspeople: Raja Krishnamoorthi, Delia Ramirez, Mike Quigley, Jan Schakowsky
County Officials: President Toni Preckwinkle, Sheriff Tom Dart, Clerk Monica Gordon, Clerk of the Circuit Court Mariyana Spyropoulos
Commissioners: Kevin Morrison, Maggie Trevor, Scott Britton, Josina Morita, John Daley, Bill Lowry, Alma Anaya
State Senators: Laura Murphy, Cristina Castro, Mark Walker
State Reps: Michelle Mussman, Nicolle Grasse, Fred Crespo
