Ted Zigmunt (b. December 8, 1951) was a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 2nd District since 2009. He has also served as Village President of Francis Creek.

Biography

Zigmunt is a member of the Board of Directors of the Francis Creek Lions Club and a member of the Francis Creek Volunteer Fire Department. He is married and has six children.[1]

Issue positions

Zigmunt's answers to the Wisconsin State Legislative Election 2008 Political Courage Test are available. The test outlines a candidate's position on a number of issues. When asked his top priorities Zigmunt answered:

  • Affordable Heath Care for all state citizens
  • Restucturing of the state tax system

Zigmunt was defeated in his bid for re-election to Wisconsin State Assembly District 2. He was defeated by Republican André Jacque in the general election on November 2, 2010.He was unopposed in the September 14, 2010, primary election. [3]
