Tegan Slaton
Tegan Slaton was a judge of the 16th Judicial Circuit Court in Monroe County, Florida. He was elected on November 4, 2008, and took office in January of 2009. He was defeated in his bid for re-election in 2014, and left the bench when his term expired on January 5, 2015.[1][2] Slaton passed away on December 27, 2015.[3]
Education
Slaton received a B.A. in economics from the University of South Florida and a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University.[1]

Primary: He was defeated in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 23.04 percent of the vote. He competed against Jack Bridges and Bonnie J. Helms.
