Tennell Atkins
Tennell Atkins was a member of the Dallas City Council in Texas, representing District 8. He assumed office in 2017. He left office in 2025.
Atkins ran for re-election to the Dallas City Council to represent District 8 in Texas. He won in the general election on May 6, 2023.
After representing District 8 from 2007 to 2015, Atkins was elected back to city council in the runoff election on June 10, 2017. He served as mayor pro tempore from 2013 to 2015.[1]
Biography
Atkins is a graduate of Bishop Dunne High School. He holds a B.S. in business from Southern Methodist University. His professional experience includes working as the CEO of A&T Construction and Redbird Development and as an executive at the Ford Motor Company.[1]
