Submitted Biography "I'm Victoria Broderick, I'm a mother of 2 young boys, four fur babies, a foster with our local humane society, and a member of the LGBTQAI+ community. I began my political journey in 2021 after my IUD failed and I had to navigate the ups and downs of a surprise pregnancy, loss, and then another surprise pregnancy. Roe was overtuned during my maternity leave, and I sprang into action. I started a TikTok to educate voters, and I became the county chair for our local democratic party. Then in 2024, I found out my opponent would run unopposed. I stepped up and haven't looked back. I work full-time in tech and run my congressional campaign to fight for working-class people everywhere. We need more moms in Congress."

General election race ratings

See also: Race rating definitions and methods

Ballotpedia provides race ratings from four outlets: The Cook Political Report, Inside Elections, Sabato's Crystal Ball, and DDHQ/The Hill. Each race rating indicates if one party is perceived to have an advantage in the race and, if so, the degree of advantage:

  • Safe and Solid ratings indicate that one party has a clear edge and the race is not competitive.
  • Likely ratings indicate that one party has a clear edge, but an upset is possible.
  • Lean ratings indicate that one party has a small edge, but the race is competitive.[1]
  • Toss-up ratings indicate that neither party has an advantage.

Race ratings are informed by a number of factors, including polling, candidate quality, and election result history in the race's district or state.[2][3][4]
