Tennessee: Judge Robert "Bob" Moon of Tennessee's Hamilton County General Sessions Court passed away at the age of 60 on Thursday. The cause of death is believed to be a heart attack. A grieving and surprised Hamilton County Courthouse struggled to accept the unexpected loss. Former prosecutor Lee Davis commented “You expect to see him like you would the walls of this building. The idea of Judge Moon being gone today is like having the courthouse crumble."[1] Fellow Judge Clarence E. Shattuck said of Moon, “He was a talented and articulate man. He had a deep concern for young people and gave counsel to numerous schools and various groups and even from the bench, when appropriate.”[1]
